COVID-19: Six more deaths, 769 new cases

The Ministry of Health has reported that six people have succumbed to COVID-19 bringing the death toll to 850. The deceased include four women and two women.
The statement released last night shows that 769 people have caught the virus, 24 recovered while 45 are critically ill.
A total of 520,367 people have been fully vaccinated while 44,227 received the first dose of COVID-19 since Rwanda began countrywide inoculation program on 5th March 2021.
Coronavirus symptoms include coughing, flu, and difficulty in breathing. The virus is said to be transmitted through the mucous membranes of the respiratory tract.
Rwandans are urged to adhere to COVID-19 health guidelines, washing hands frequently using soaps and safe water, wearing face masks and respecting social distancing.
